Do you take walk-ins?

Yes! We make scheduled appointments via our booking service, but we may accept walk-ins on a first come first serve basis based on the availability of the day. If there are no available appointment slots online, there will not be any available in-store. If you would like to enquire about same-day welding appointments, please contact the store you wish you book your appointment with.

How many weldings can I get in one appointment?

Our staff will do up to two weldings in one appointment. This can be up to two for one person, or one for two people in the same appointment. If you want to come in a group larger than two, please contact the store you wish to have your appointment with.

Can I add charms after my original weld?

We don't offer the option to add charms at a later date. This is to ensure the chain isn't cut for any reason and stays durable with no weak points.

Are there any age restrictions for Welding?

We offer this service to customers over the age of 10 years old. If you are under 16 but over the age of 10 your legal guardian will need to accompany you to the appointment.

Can I remove my welded jewellery?

The beauty of a welded bracelet is that you wear it 24/7. However, if you do need to remove it for any reason, a pair of wire cutters can be used on the jump ring or connector part of the chain. Once this is done, make sure to keep your chain as we should be able to reweld it for you in-store for free. If you don’t have access to wire cutters, you can use scissors (held steadily on the jump ring) or you can visit us in-store to have it cut by someone from our dedicated welding team.

Are there any reasons why I would need to remove my welded jewellery?

Our welded jewellery (including charms) is made of 14ct solid gold, meaning it is non-magnetic and so should not interfere with machines (such as airport security sensors).

Should you be required to remove your welded jewellery for a medical procedure, a pair of wire cutters can be used on the jump ring or connector part of the chain. Once this is done, make sure to keep your chain as we should be able to reweld it for you in-store for free.

If you don’t have access to wire cutters, you can use scissors (held steadily on the jump ring) or you can visit us in-store to have it cut by someone from our dedicated welding team.

Can I return my welded jewellery?

Due to the personalised nature of welded jewellery, we do not offer returns. If you have any queries, please contact one of our stores.

What is the warranty on welded jewellery?

We offer a 2 year warranty on our welded jewellery, with a three-month guarantee (if your bracelet breaks within this period we will replace it free of charge).

Can I get my bracelet re-welded?

In terms of re-welding bracelets, our dedicated team will assess this on a case-by-case basis. If we offer you this service, we will inspect your chain before re-welding to ensure there are no issues. The re-welding of the chain itself will be complementary – however, if the integrity of your chain has been compromised, or over-stretched, we will suggest you purchase a new welded bracelet (at a discounted price).

What Should I Do To Prepare For My Appointment?

There is no special preparation needed for your appointment, other than to ensure you are wearing clothing that can expose your wrist easily.

We can accommodate welding for customers over the age of 10. For customers under the age of 16 we will require you to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

What happens if I have to remove my welded bracelet for medical reasons?

Our welded bracelets are handcrafted from 14ct solid gold, which means in most scenarios you should not need to remove your permanent jewellery. However if you are asked to remove your bracelet, a pair of wire cutters can be used on the jump ring or connector part of the chain. Once this is done, make sure to keep your chain as we should be able to reweld it for you in-store for free.

If you don’t have access to wire cutters, you can use scissors (held steadily on the jump ring) or you can visit us in-store to have it cut by someone from our dedicated welding team.

What is the Process Like?

We offer a bespoke welding experience, providing a curated collection of chains and charms for customers to mix and match and create their own unique pieces. Guided by our trained welding experts, our machines enable the rapid welding of small 14ct gold chains in seconds, without the need for high temperatures or chemicals, ensuring a quick, safe, and straightforward process. Customers have the freedom to choose their chain, have it cut to their desired length, and seamlessly attached to their wrist on the spot.

How do I take care of my welded jewellery?

We always have your safety as our number one priority. Our welded bracelets are purposefully designed to snap if they get caught and are then pulled, in order to stop you hurting yourself. For this reason, take care not to catch your permanent jewellery on anything.

If your permanent jewellery tangles with another item – such as a piece of jewellery or a hair band – take care when separating. Being too rough with your permanent jewellery may cause it to snap.

Booking terms

You will not be charged for the welding service.
