customs duties and taxes

International orders may be subject to customs or import duties and tax charges once they reach their destination country outside of the UK. These charges are payable by the customer and we do not currently cover this cost.

EU orders: We would like to reassure all of our European customers that there will be no uninvited costs (additional customs taxes and duties) from Brexit's new trading laws.

To our customers in Australia, please note that we need to add a service tax (GST) to all orders from Australia in order for us to comply with Australian import tax laws. Please see the ATO website for more details.

is vat applied to international orders?

A 20% VAT charge is automatically removed from any orders being delivered outside the UK or EU. This amount has been deducted from the listed price when you select your shipping country.

will i need to pay duties and taxes on my order?

can i pick up my order?

Unfortunately we currently don't provide a click and collect pick-up service.

can i change or cancel my order?

Once an order has been placed we're unable to make any changes or cancel the order. Once you have received your order, you can use our Returns portal to return any unwanted items.

can my order be redirected?

Unfortunately we're unable to redirect orders once they have left our warehouse, so please make sure to provide a shipping address where you will be available to sign and receive your order. If you would still like to try and redirect your parcel once it's been despatched, please contact the courier directly to see if this would be possible.

Can you deliver my order to a PO Box address?

Unfortunately we're unable to deliver to PO Box numbers, BFPO addresses, mail-forwarding addresses and temporary residence addresses. This is so that we can ensure the safe delivery and receipt of your Missoma order.

do i need to sign for my parcel?

For security purposes, all Missoma orders being delivered using UK Next Day service will require a signature.

All mainland UK Next Day deliveries are sent via DPD and you will receive a notification on the day of delivery via text or e-mail.

Orders shipping with Standard service don't require a signature.

How long will delivery of my personalised order take?

Orders with engraving or monogramming items will be delivered in 7-10 working days. (Delivery times exclude UK Bank Holidays.)

Orders that have both a personalised and non-personalised item cannot be split into two separate shipments and will be delivered in 7-10 working days.

How can I track my order?

We will send you tracking details once your order has been sent out from our warehouse - this can be found on your order despatch email.

POP UP STORE RETURNS

You may return items purchased in our London Covent Garden pop-up store back to store within 60 days with your proof of store purchase and order number.

If for some reason you're unhappy with your order or have changed your mind, we accept returns on all items - including earrings - that are sent back to us unworn and in their original packaging.

However unfortunately we're unable to accept returns on engraved, monogrammed or other personalised items, as we’ve customised these pieces especially for you. (If an engraved or monogrammed item was received faulty, please contact us to rectify this.)

We're also unable to accept returns on items purchased from our stockists. Please contact them directly to process your return.

We aim to process all orders within 14 working days, however in some cases this may take up to 30 working days during busier times of year.

Return Charges

We offer free return for customers in mainland UK (excluding Northern Ireland) and the US.

For customers based in Europe or other international countries, the return cost will be calculated in our Returns portal.

Faulty Items

We sincerely apologise if you have experienced any fault with your new Missoma jewellery.

Our customer service team would be happy to assist - please contact us before returning your item to us, so that our team can help more quickly and advise you of next steps and time frames for a refund or replacement item.

Exchanges

We no longer accept exchanges, including rings and other sizes. Please contact us if you have any questions about an item or order.

Stockist Returns

We're unable to accept returns on items purchased from our stockists. Please contact them directly to process your return - contact info for all retailers can be found on our Stockist page.

International Returns

Returns from international countries outside mainland UK and the US may be subject to a return fee. This cost is calculated in our Returns portal.

Please note that international customs duties and sales taxes are not refunded for orders returned to us from outside the EU.

Pop-up Store Returns

You may return items purchased in our London Covent Garden pop-up store back to store within 60 days with your proof of store purchase and order number.

Once the pop-up store has closed, please contact us to process an online return.

If your store order was processed on one of our in-store iPads, you may also return your order using our Returns portal.

Receiving Your Refund

We aim to process all returned orders within 14 working days, however this may take up to 30 working days during busier times of year.

All refunds will be credited back to the original payment method.

Please note, shipping costs are not refundable, and international customs duties and sales taxes are not refunded for orders returned to us from outside the EU.
